A NSW couple accused of starving a young girl to death will learn later this month if they are permitted to have contact with a potential witness in the case. Blakeley Ward, 46, and Sharyn Ward, 37, briefly appeared via video link in Newcastle Local Court

They should both be sterilised if they are guilty as it is a privelege,NOT a right to have children. To treat a child so barbarically deserves the full force of the law and no time off for good behaviour. EVIL!! There is no excuse in this day and age for this abhorrent behaviour.

How selfish of them! They could have placed her in a home or with family who wanted her. This little girl could have been loved by a deserving family!
