Perhaps if The US goverment quit using depleted uranium, the soldiers would be much healthier.

If the DOD admits to 9%, there are probably many more, and there are other emotionally damaged vets with other disorders who are sent home tagged as having prexisting conditions. and thus not entitled to health care. These people are victims of war, as surely as those in whose countries they were placed. I know, I'm the mother of a very unhappy overstressed soldier who entered an army in a country at peace, expecting a decent job, and instead has been to Iraq and now Afghanistan. My heart breaks for all people touched by any war.

What the real is kicker is, that Geoge Bush, has a new law in place, that will ban any public service employee, Military included, that has pretty well ANY mental problems(stress), from owning a fire arm.
