I can't believe this shit!!! THis really pisses me off. Her parents need to be sold into slavery and suffer the same fate she did!!! >:{ God bless that child, place your hand upon her, comfort her, and make her feel that everything will be okay.

You cannot call these people parents, incarcerate them for a long time.

I never cease to be amazed by the "civilized" world. Think about this not only her mum and dad but at least 200 clients and all the internet porn for sale. I'm often glad to live in an uncivilized world.

There are low life people in every crevice on every continent. Cockroaches are not as reviled as this sort of filth. This sort of filth embeds itself into you and is impossible to scrub off. It makes me shudder. I personally feel death would be a fair option for these parents.Even if you are starving there are alternatives to this making it an inexcuseable and heinous crime. Sterilise both parents and give them a lengthy jail sentence if they are not allowed to be put to death.

When is this kind of crap going to end? The poor suffering children. WE must do something to stop this inhumane treatment of our most precious treasures!
Thank you Chrissy for posting this.

"On Friday, the girl's mother, 42, was jailed for 13 years for crimes including five counts of raping her daughter and prostituting her. She will be eliglible for parole in 2010."

"Her father, 51, was jailed for 10 years on 63 charges including indecent treatment of a child under 16 who is a lineal descendent under care. He will be eligible for parole in April." a mother who rapes her daughter and prostitutes her for 4 years ends up serving only 2 years. A father who prostitudes his daughter for 4 years and will be out in 4 months. These two monsters sentenced their daughter to 4 years of hell and a lifetime of horrific memories but all they get with parole is 2 years and 4 months respectively!!!
Noted with disgust!

To me the punishment & the fact that the mother is eligable for parole in 2010 seems far too low. This kind of thing has to be far severly punished. Just not acceptable.

Someone in another topic spoke about raising kids with "love" by breaking them of "misguided independence" and wilful "disobedience." Child abusers believe that children are just objects and that breaking a child's spirit is a form of "love."

These are the same right-wing religious zealots and supporters of fascist/corporate hierarchy that are destroying the planet. They don't get punished much or often because the legal systems are in the hands of the same type of authoritarians and pedophiles. Chances are very good that the judge, or a close friend of the judge, was a customer of the parents, or of close friends of the parents in the same business.

The sad fact is that people who see nothing wrong with destroying the planet for profit (global warming), driving other species to extinction for profit (development), starting wars of aggression and commiting crimes against humanity and genocide for profit (Iraq), etc., don't see anything wrong with selling children into sex slavery for profit. Their freedom to make money without government interference overrides the freedom of children to grow up without being abused, and every other possible freedom.

That's why libertarians are just as dangerous as Milton Friedman type neoliberals and neoconservatives. All they care about is the freedom to make money, and they don't care about human rights at all. So when somebody starts telling you that your freedoms are being taken away, that the federal reserve bank controls everything, and that we need to get rid of what few laws and what little government regulation (laws against child abuse, even with weak or no enforcement) we have left, don't be too surprised if they end up trying to sell you an underage kid.

DId the judge fail math class? 2010 is hardly the appropriate number of years for this 'mudder' (for lack of a better term) to serve for her crimes, which will affect her children's lives forever. The father should be locked away permanently also....

Her parents should not be eligible for parole. They should at the very least be required to serve their entire sentence.

There is something we can do. Get involved with our neighbors! Be a part of their circle, be interested in their wellbeing. If we all took personal responsibility for the welfare of five neighbors to our left and five to our right many of these things would not go undetected for long.

Check out this website: and GET INVOLVED!

Both parents need to be "horse whipped" this is barbaric and never should they be regarded as "parents" they are "leaches" I hope they don't go near this girl again in their life time they are maggotts.
They ruined this girl, Godl bless her and keep her safe always.

It is wrong that these parents will be released so soon and be free to walk the streets. They are sex offenders of children. The recidivism rate for continued deviany bahavior is extreamly high, so without their own children, whose children will they turn to to meet their sick and sadistic needs? We even have laws on the books to address this kind of henious crime, but the law enforcement agencies do not enforce it and the judges do not dole out the proper punishment. In addition, we have so many appeals of conviction it is insane. I believe these people should never be allowed to be free. I do not feel they could ever be trusted around anyones children.

It is incomprehesible to me that they could be eligible for parole in 2010, (Mother), and April of 2008, (Father). Horrible!!!

Wow, Mark S., include all the facts:

The shortened version:
[The full dialog can be found here:]

Mark S. said:
"The only ideology that needs to be fought is Milton Friedmanism, that in order to make things better, you first have to destroy them. It has never worked anywhere and it won't work in Iraq."

My response:
"I disagree. You often have to tear things down to build them up properly. Ever raise children? Temperament. Misguided independence. WIllful disobedience. All corrected in love, but still have to break down their often poorly based preconceived notions to teach them correctly."

You really don't get it, huh, Edward?

This poor girl was OBEDIENT to the abusive parents.

The girl did not try to seek independence, which in this case would not have been in the least "misguided."

The girl was not even temperamental, submitting dutifully to being sold 200 times.

And the parents were demonstrating their authoritarian "love" for their child by training the child to be submissive and obedient, not to be temperamental, not to seek independence, and to be totally obedient.

The girl did NOT disobey the parents. And it is people like you who encourage parents like that to do whatever they want with their kids, and encourage kids to submit obediently, dutifully, and not to be wilful or seek independence.

But I think you DO get it. I think you believe in authoritarianism, Milton Friedmanism, the destruction of things with no care whether or not they can actually be reconstructed, and the obedience of children to parents just because they are parents with no regard to what kind of parents they are.

Nobody who cares about children would "break them down" in order to "build them up properly." They were created properly. If you treat them with respect, they will develop as they were meant to. If you break them down, all you will get is broken children, which is apparently what you prefer. Broken children, broken countries, everything broken just so authoritarians can enforce their will on others because they know best. You do know best, don't you Edward? You wouldn't be saying things just to be disruptive and not actually believing them or thinking them true?

Again, I will not get in a debate with you in this forum, but clearly YOUR words speak for themselves and define who YOU are and what YOU believe, so I need not comment on them other than to say, read what I wrote, don't read what you think I meant. I will say this...what these parents did was not in love and notice there are no quotes around my love. If you don't understand that, I cannot help you to...

Once again, I leave the last word to you if you so choose...

That's right, what they did and what you advise is not love. Breaking the spirit of children so that they are unquestioningly obedient and do not strive to be independent is not love, it is abuse. Even when it does not lead to sexual exploitation, it is abuse, not love. I am someone who cares about children and about human rights. You are someone who cares about authoritarianism, discipline, and does not see children as human beings, but as blank slates to force to conform to your will. Your statements are a perfect example of what Naomi Klein writes about in "The Shock Doctrine," and of the evils of capitalism and greed. Children are not objects, they are people. The environment is not an object, it is our habitat and is that which makes our life possible and sustains it. Both should be treated with respect.

That is just sickening. The parents did not get enough time in jail. They should get life in jail...their daughter will most certainly be dealing with this for the rest of her life. People make me sick!

Best bet is to e-mail the Queensland Premier Anna Bligh to complain about the sentences handed down by the Judge. The more e-mails siting disgust over the sentences from around the world, and the Queensland Government WILL have to listen. People Power does work in Australia.

They deserve to be killed. Period! They are monsters and NOT people! Monsters NEED to be killed! We have
too many humans on the planet as it is without having to put up with monsters taking away from us humans!
Once people get it through their thick heads that monsters exsist and NEED to be killed as such, then the world will be better! Only then. Poor girl!!!

Can't these people's earnings be garnished for life? Payment shouldn't only be in jail time but they should have to pay financially to help pay for the care and damage to people in these situations

Out of evil does come good. The good that came from this -- The little girl is free to be a little girl again! We can't save them all -- but it matters to the ones who are saved from this life of despair!
