How sad is this - that poor, poor woman - terrified to contact authorities if she had - she could have been given medical attention straight away and may still be here with us - but - alas - that is not so - and some big "cowardly bully" will probably get away with her murder. He being to damn lazy to get his money the through the proper channel ie: "work" the four lettered word to some!!!! I am sorry for this poor woman - she is safe now.

I pray they catch whoever did this and remove him from decent society. Yes Jaclin, she is safe now.

If she feared another attack, she very well could have known the animal who hurt her. I hope the cops are checking out neighbors, etc.

Such cruel people. They have no respect or care for others. They are monsters that are walking our streets daily. Sad sad. She is resting now and at peace.

Dreadful lack of respect for the elderly and for human life. Hope they catch the one who did this.

These kind of people that hurt others because they don't want to work but, steal and kill, are mere morsels sucking the life out of other people, I hope they catch him and they should hang him from a high tree. This would stop this senseless killings. thank you Chrissy N noted

Why is it that all the hard working innocent ppl are attacked in their own space? We have had 4 murders in Calgary, Alberta, Canada since January 1st 2008. All unprovoked attacks on innocent ppl. What is wrong with our world. I know that I work hard (as does my husband) to make a living to provide for my childen and I cannot bear the fact that someone could take that all away in a heartbeat. Why do the bad guys/girls feel the need to ruin lives because they can't be bothered to get a job and work like everyone else. There's no "free lunch" and these ppl should realize that. Don't take from others and kill them for no reason, but to gain a few bucks. omg. I'm just sick for this family. My prayers go out to them. s-j

We need to teach & protect our elderly against this type of thing. It angers me to think they may never capture this murderer and remove him from society. I too hope the authorities will find this person. May her dear soul rest is peace and God be with her family.

A big Black German Shepherd would have changed that perks mind.
I hate animals, children, elderly abuse. Woman abuse also but at least we can fight back.
