A severe drought is fueling a grave food crisis in Afghanistan that threatens millions with possible starvation. "In Afghanistan, the heroin trade, suicide bombings and the 'war on terror' has put the humanitarian agenda on the sidelines."

And the continued war status of Afghanstan is not helping these people or advancing the cause of peace.

Disgusting the suffering the poeple endure because of thier government. I cannot believe this government does make sure food is gotten to the poeple who are starving. It so angers me the greed and of governments at the expense of thier poeple. SO many countries that have millions starving live in a country where thier government has wealth but too much greed to share it with thier citizens.
