The pacific salmon fry don't have a chance when they swim past these fish farms. Many cannot survive the attack of sea lice which are prevalent near these farms. Many species are dependent on these fish for their very survival and no one in government seems to care. very sad and so short sighted on the part of humans. Thank you, Ms. Morton for your dogged determination over the years to save these fish. Hopefully, it will not be too late for them and those species who depend on them.

Samantha R, makes some very good points, unfortunately it's just too consistant a part of our lives. We allow things that we know are wrong and will eventually cause serious problems to build, before we are forced to do something to try and reverse the damage. Money is made either way. Maybe that's what we don't really examine.
