Nigeria will receive approximately $4.5 million in military training, hardware sales, and counter-terrorism and counter-narcotics education in 2010. It's intolerable that U.S. taxpayers must subsidize a repressive government's slaughter of its civilians.

Thanks Tom!
Oil giant SHELL has been supporting the Nigerian government´s terror against it´s own citizens in the Niger delta since the 80´s, with tacit approval from western governments. They´ve been more or less stealing oil (=buying it ridiculously cheap, since the government´s totally corrupt) and destroying the environment and thereby the means for survival of the people living there. When the people fight back, the government send in the army to kill and terrorize people indiscriminately. It´s time to put a stop to this now!
