Why do I suspect that this article could inject the names of every Wall Street investment company or bank and it would not need to change a word. Of course with the great good fortune of Reaganomics and changes to the meaning and use of the 401Ks the government made it all just easier for these "vampires" to suck the life from all those trusting Americans. All with the knowledge and full cooperation of the government, and all that is implied. I should know I was one of the "victims" just saving and investing for years and years to "guarantee" a safe comfortable retirement - what a joke. When will people acknowledge that the free market system is neither free nor a market, nor does the damn thing work. Serious and deep changes are needed and they will not happen, how could they happen --- all of government is on the payroll of the "companies" we are just the dupes, the consuming machines.

Very good article Tom, Matt Taibbi always writes an insightful look at things.
