Animal rights advocates and environmentalists have said the killing of the pack's two alpha wolves, as well as a collared female and pup, will result in the death of the pack's remaining wolves. The survivors include four adult gray males and two pups.

I am sorry but I do not understand why anyone in their right mind would wish to kill off wolves - they are a most intelligent and beautiful wild animal and deserve to live in their chosen habitat. TY Tom for the post. Love & Light

Wolves mourn their dead for six weeks. They stay with the dead pack member that long before they move on.

well i'm sure all the so called "hunters" should be happy now! in just a short time they managed to slaughter a whole pack! says a whole bunch for the red-neck nature of the bunch in that state!

I just don't see how one can take pleasure and be happy from killing innocent animals that want nothing but to live just like the human that shot him/her. The huntings must stop. None, in all of God's creatures, wants to die. So what makes the difference between a human's life and a wolf's life?

Thanks for the news.

another cluster of cancer cells - a mass of adrenaline junkies - men with guns who like to shoot animals. GOD PLEASE SAVE THE WOLVES. LET THE HELICOPTERS CRASH INTO THE FORESTS. LET THE MURDERERS HANG FROM THE TREES BY THEIR DESIGNER UNDERWEAR.

I have a theory as to how these people can do these reprensible kinds of things: I have come to believe that somewhere along homo sapiens evolutionary journey, there was a split that has actually resulted in 2 different species. One species is compassionate and caring and is aghast at violence, especially violence done to innocent, helpless trusting victims, such as children, women, animals and the second species are the perpetrators of the violence and they delight in violence and causing suffering. I'm not kidding. This violent species in not the same species as I am. Perhaps at one time, there was a need for this kind of violent species, but I think they will die out because their behavior is ultimately unsustainable.
