Palin is a disgrace. She fits right in with the Cheney-Bush-Mccain anti science, anti environment group. She likes to kill animals and enrich the oil companies.

Think about this: Palin talks the talk about there not being global warming. But she KNOWS it is happening. The polar bears are listed as 'threatened' (not 'endangered', the last I heard), which means they can't be hunted and killed by people in the lower 48 and the bodies brought into the lower 48. So, she disclaims global warming, disclaims polar bears being threatened, and wants them removed from the list, SO she can sell licenses to kill them before they all starve to death or drown while trying to get to an iceberg to hunt seals. The seals have either starved or have moved North to the bergs. She doesn't want polar bears removed and taken somewhere to keep the species alive and healthy genetically. If the bears are delisted, she can also allow the cubs, waiting on shore for their mothers to return to feed them, to be killed. She wants black bear sows and cubs shot. She wants 80% of the wolves shot. She wants the wolverines trapped. The moose and elk shot. She is a Republican! SHE"S A HUNTER!!! A lifetime member of the NRA!.... She thinks God is behind the Cheney Cabal telling over 1000 deliberate lies in order to attack Iraq FOR MONEY - and they hoped, a step forward on World Power.....Do you want Palin for Veep? How about for President? MCCain is 72. He has had 4 episodes of cancer. His father died of a massive heart attack at age 68. His grandfather died of a massive heart attack at age 61..... Are you thinking???

with all of us on care2 and our families and us spreading the word of how horrible this lady is we have bound to keep her out of office and keep her from getting her way. If she gets what she wants it will be a terrible time not only for the animals but for all mankind. Can you imagine a life without animals roaming free and wild. All destroyed because some lady had the arrogance to take it upon herself to rid the world of them. We can't let that happen. We must all spread the news to every one we know let them know what kind of person she is before it is to late.

Top scientists are now saying that global warming is being caused in part by human activity. Whether it is man-made or not, everyone except Sarah Palin now seems to agree that global warming exists and is a potential threat to all life on our planet. Debating the causes of global warming is like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic. I think we need to focus on what, if anything, we are going to do about it. If you were diagnosed with diabetes and your doctor told you he had no doubt it was partially caused by your eating habits, would you tell him he is contributing to the diabetes hoax and eat another candy bar?

Big Oil is trying to sell the public the idea that man-made carbon emissions don't contribute to global warming. This is understandable - they are in business to sell oil. They have reaped record profits by artificially holding back production, and to add insult to injury, now expect to be rewarded for their greed by being allowed to drill in protected coastal environments and in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. They have run an effective advertising campaign, using our elected politicians as their spokesmen. They even have a website (http://www.anwr.org/) touting their success in corrupting and manipulating us into doing their bidding. This is shameful.

What's good for their business is bad for our health. Our "doctors," the top scientists who study global warming, have warned us that if we continue to burn fossil fuels like gasoline, we are contributing to our own destruction. We need to elect more representatives who support alternative eco-friendly renewable energy resources like wind and solar power and who believe protecting our planet and all of it's inhabitants is more important than protecting their campaign-donors' profits and their own jobs.

I think there's something to be said when even T. Boone Pickens is investing heavily into alternative energy. There's financial incentives as well as eco-friendly incentives in renewables.

That's about as non-partisan as it gets. Too bad McCain has already sold his position/beliefs to the oil lobbyists... $2 million and counting!!! Guess that's why they keep asking for more tax breaks....the Bush, Bush, and McBush candidates keep asking for higher bribes!!!
