The majestic grizzly bear was once king of the Western wilderness but was threatened with extinction for a third of a century. With a new study showing there are now about 563 bears in Montana, ranchers, farmers and Republican leaders want to delist them.

Ahh...just when a species is 'finally' rebounding or thriving...someone comes along and wants to start 'blowing them away' again!!!

"The finding, from a $4.8 million, five-year study of grizzly bear DNA criticized by Republican presidential candidate John McCain as pork barrel spending, could help ease restrictions on oil and gas drilling, logging and other development."

Don't let the 'gun-toting-mama'Sarah Palin LOOSE, WITH HER GUN, in Montana!!

They took all the trees
Put em in a tree museum
And they charged the people
A dollar and a half just to see em
Dont it always seem to go
That you dont know what youve got
Till its gone
They paved paradise
And put up a parking lot

Unfortunately people who think like this Gov are not on the endangered species list.

The drive to destroy natural habitat is the goal. We left Maontan to come back to Alaska in 2006. Why? Because Californians have moved up through Oregon, Washington Idaho and Montana is a steady drive to find cheaper living. As they do developers lie in wait sucking up wild lands and undeveloped land for building new housing. Yep...out goes the wildlife and in come the human animal that destroys everything in its path.
It is sickening and terrible the damage left in the aftermath...

We need to keep our wild life free and unharmed by man without them how can we excist as a civilization if all we want to do is kill. As man shall live so shall the beast.
