Wonderful! hank you. I'm the proud Mom of a gay man aged 49 who just this month married his 14 year partner. The whole families of both these men were there to celebrate with them, as were their youth ministers of the Lutheran and Episcopal Churches.

Congratulations to your son and his husband, Jane! What a wonderful scene you describe. Gathering both families and having church officials present for their wedding was virtually inconceivable just a decade ago--- and I think the Lutherans are moving closer to accepting and performing same-sex weddings in the not too distant future, from what I've read about the internal struggles and debates.

Jae A and I had a simple wedding here in Palm Springs four days before they took away the right (Halloween day!) in 2008, and it just so happened that October 18th was the anniversary of our meeting, which we always celebrated. So now we celebrate both October days, and the 18th next month will be our 31st anniversary.

Wonderful photos! Helps to remind us that all humans are threads in the tapestry of humanity. If only the narrowminded bigots in this world would realize that.
