Go to National Museum Wales in Cardiff. Ask for the Origins Tour and a curator will tell you about the human inhabitant of this cave.

Beautiful work of art. I'm so glad that it survived and by extension the artist who created it.

12,000 to 14,000 years ago something happened to wipe out what was here. We need to dig deep to uncover signs of earlier civilizations.

Very interesting! It always amazes me that mankind from early on showed a need to express himself and his experiences through art! Art played an important role in the development of our brains and in the ability to communicate with one another! And to think that our ancestors were even doing this 40,000 yrs. ago is trully amazing!
