Msg from Christine :- Please note and cross post. Bob is a 100% disabled veteran and is going to be living alone as of January and I am already training a dog for him, but because of an unscrupulous "trainer" (and I use that loosely) he was taken for his life savings. As most of you know, I train Service Dogs and help those that need it raise the funds. BOB REALLY NEEDS THE HELP. I have set up a Paypal fund for Bob and we are a verified non-profit. If you can help at all it would be great.....thank you, Christine ......

I am just so disgusted that ppl can be so heartless & uncaring as to RIP off another Soul and leave them Potless & helpless, May all the Plagues of hell infest their life.

Christine shall do what we can to help, Blessings be yours, for your caring & sharing through your own hardship & trials.

Tj, of course I will help. That thieving low-life waste of the human gene-pool should be run out of town after head shaved and tarred and feathered. I have made a donation and hope anyone else who can will do so also, it is so important that Bob have the best quality of life that he possibly can and it is win-win in that a beautiful intelligent dog will be able to serve it's life purpose with such a wonderful job. Bless you Tj for helping these dogs be the best they can be and bless them for their ability and their hearts. Bob, we are behind you and love you and hope that this will help erase at least a little of what that other !#@$#$ did to you.

Christine thank you for your msg, I have gathered together what I can spare and left it and msg at site, if you could let us know how much you need for these service pooches, we'll see what else we can muster.
I have tried to add a widget for Donations to Homepage but C2 is not allowing page edit at present, I will keep trying. Have post on other sites & will keep posting where I can, I hope others like Morgan will read and fwd if nothing else.

Thank you Christine and all comcerned for all the help you are giving Bob and for this wonderful fundraising you have initiated.
Bob is a dear friend and yes he is in DESPERATE need of a good service dog. If any one deserves the best, Bob does! What I think of that unscrupulous trainer that fleeced Bob last Christmas cannot be printed here...it was heartbreaking!!!!!There really should be somewhere people can go to get help in these situations...an ombudsman for disabled or something...I have made a donation and will try to do so again later..I hope the exchange rate picks up a bit.
Thank you again...as far as I am concerned you are all Angels :) May your God love and Bless each and every one of you

For those of you who know Bob. He was given a lap dog names Schatzie. She has not been trained, and I am also going to train her for him. However, Bob needs a Service Dog. He will be by himself after January, and he needs the mobility support and services a bigger dog can give him.

Never mind! I found a way there on the palswithpawz.org web page. Look for the line where you choose what to donate to and you will find Bob's name.

Thank you all for the donations for Bob and the Comments...I held an event for our READING Pawz program for the children, and Bob and Ginnie L. drove down to visit, so that I could evaluate Bob's needs. He is a wonderful man who not only deserves, but NEEDS a Service Dog. Unfortunately, he needs one YESTERDAY. But I will make sure that he gets a Dog.

THANK YOU
I would like to thank all of you who have voted for PALS with Pawz. We have actually made it on the board, however, The larger rescue/shelter organizations are kicking all of the small rescues "behinds".

So I am PLEADING with you, please vote, have your friends and family vote; ask your neighbors to vote. I know some of you have voted for other rescues. That is wonderful. Do the same for them. You can track how they are doing, and if you look at the top 3, they are BIG organizations. I would like to see at least one small rescue make it up there. We work just as hard, if not harder.

$10,000 Can Provide PALS with Pawz

Spay-Neuter Surgery
Microchipping
Wellness Exam & Annual Vaccinations
Heartworm Testing & Treatment
Food, Heartworm Preventative & Flea/Tick Control

For Approximately 30 Dogs!
or the above plus

Vests/Harness
Service Dog Training

For Approximately 3 Disabled Persons or Autistic Children
who Might Not Otherwise Be Able to Afford a Service Dog
Please Vote Today!

If you are inclined to vote for PALS with Pawz, this is our link: http://www.care2.com/animalsheltercontest/75564/?refer=1562.08.1222221930.8297

There is also a prize for the 20 top recruiters, so after you vote, if you invite your friends, make sure you use the link that they give you. That way you have a chance for the top recruiter.

Again, Thank you for your assistance; and Thank you for voting for either me or any of the shelters listed.

hugs....Christine

Crud, they only let you vote once!!! I sent this out to my friends off care2 and we'll see what happens. Most of them don't understand what I'm doing but they follow my instructions just to placate me. Whatever it takes it's still a vote.

Thank you for all of your support for Bob...Just an UPDATE: I was informed by Ginnie Hi Christine,

I have bad news. I am sorry say that Bob is back in the hospital with gout in his right arm. He has been in the hospital for the last few days. That's why no one has been able to reach him. The pain in his head and neck were running down into his arm and he went in to check it out. His arm has since swollen into gout. The swelling has gone down a lot but not all the way yet. He is just now starting to be able to bend his fingers. Before his hand was totally numb. Bob will probably be in the hospital for another few days to a week. He is in the VA hospital in Asheville, NC. His number is 828-298-7911 push 7. His room is A363 under the name of Robert Busch. Please send your thoughts and prayers to Bob. This is why he needs his Service Dog more and more. Please hit copy on the Bob Fund widget and post it where you can. Much Love and Respect....Christine
