Holy crap! Sounds like something is not right there. That many rhinos getting killed?? Sounds to me like someone is being paid off! Thanks for the information however distressing it may be Kevin!

Very sad! Ignorance + greed = the extinction of a whole species of animal! More needs to be done to prevent this from becoming a reality!

I know some do not want to hear such depressing news. However, if it is not shared it would go largely unnoticed. Then one day you read a reference to a now extinct species and wonder when that happened and wonder why no one stopped it. My intent then is to keep it visible.

There are multiple petitions circulating on and off of Care2, seeking an end to this madness.

Please find and sign them. Some can be found at Orangutans: Men of the Forest

The killing of both rhinos and elephants seems to have become obsessive and maniacal of late, as if the killers are trying to kill as many as they possibly can in a limited time. How sick is the human animal. It's appalling. We need to make sure the ones in captivity are safe from these lunatics who are bent on the extinction of these beautiful creatures.

Noted, and our rotten government sits back, what could I expect from a bunch of bloody criminals running the country. I drive around with posters at the back of my car saying "we are being massacred on a daily basis, aren't you supposed to protect us". I went to an anti poaching rhino march when Absa, the rhino at Aquila was slaughtered, and all I did was cry my eyes out. I cannot believe that in less than a few year's time, these animals, along with so many others, will not exist - I do not want to be on earth then.
