when i click to go to the site it doesnt work Kevin..maybe its my end, I wondered if perhaps he had a heart attack and died and then the Pigs ate him? My pig that i had many years ago, she was a dear Pig, she was a large white, very large white...and if she came across something that was dead she wouldnt hesitate to eat it. ... well it happened once that she found a dead duck, so I guessed she was not fussy, except cabbage, she didnt like cabbage.

The link worked for me in both Firefox and Chrome.I quit using IE9 because it kept crashing.

The problem might be an intermittent one at Care2 as well. Try again and if still unsuccessful try another browser.

Thanks for the comment and noting Jill.

I considered cartoons to illustrate these but was hurried at the time and the hog story might be a bit too morbid and the farmer's family might see those. I have been avoiding using pictures that appear with the original article because of copyright issues. So, when I have personal photos that can be used to illustrate a story, I use them. Creations like TPPA may make copying any part of any of these articles into CRIMINAL Offenses, as is the possibility of civil suit over copyright issues is enough to have me avoid them. I don't have any photos left of the hogs we had prior to losing the ranch to fire.

On the hog issue; I ended our raising of hogs when a well fed sow made an unprovoked attempt to bite my then 8 year old daughter and we all got to see the size of the teeth she was going to bite with. This hand reared hog showed us just how dangerous they can be even when they are not hungry.

ya, i suppose, as for promoting the images with the stories, i am almost positive they can be included as long as they are in context with the story

Yes Rox. I had several such morbid but funny thoughts and decided that if it was my family member, I might not think it funny to see it in a cartoon. If I draw any of them I'll send by email. ;-).
