BBC News - Australia Dolphins 'Saved' By Juvenile's Distress Call

The distress call of a young dolphin has been used to lure a large pod of the animals to safety, after it appeared they would strand themselves in shallow water.

Wonderful to hear this as animals are one another's protectors. Humans should do the same & we could save ourselves rather then doing our own thing!

If not for human intervention, the dolphins would have followed junior further into shallow water and probably died. They were only saved because the environment officials took the wailing kid out to deeper water, then the others followed. Doesn't anyone read anything properly?
