I don't think raccoons are good pets. They belong outside. Maybe he was injured so he is socialized from being taken care of.

WOW, I always thought Raccoons were vicious and not to be near them. This is quite the FAT BOY! Yes agree he should be in the wild!

I hope this is a rehab as raccoons can not be kept as pets legally. It's also so sad to see a wild animal of any species in captivity.
