Thanks Christeen for sharing. I love to see people standing up to help animals. Wildlife especially is at high risk these days, & need everyone possible in their corner!!!~~

This is something that "ALL COMMUNITIES" need to do for the Birds and the wildlife in their areas. People should put themselves in these little critters place and know that they to need a drink and some extra food in these conditions!! This is our "RESPONSIBILITY".... Thanks, Christeen for this REMINDER!!!!

Thanks, yes, this heat has been hard on wildlife: I can see it in my own garden.

I provide pails filled with rain water all over my yard for birds & wildlife & even put dog food out in ice cream buckets for wild life along with 4 bird feeders. I even have squirrels at my bird feeders. Thanks Christeen for posting.

In the apartment complex where I live, we have fountains and lots of pool like water for our "rich" pigeons. LOL

I also signed a petition for sea turtles.

Thank you.

Our summer is much more tolerable this year.

Usually we greet each other "It's hot."
The response is "Yes, it's hot."
It's as if we're reassuring ourselves,
we're not imagining it.
It's hot.

I've been out on 120 days.

This year our greeting is, "Hi, How are you." "Fine, and you?"

My empathy is with those who are having a "It's hot." "Yes, it's hot" summer.

We must do what we can for the animals.

This is a good thing,
