This is reprehensible! He's a traitor and belongs behind bars!

I will give Mr. Snowden the benefit of the doubt and assume he was following his conscience. However I DON'T consider him any kind of humanitarian.

I thought I was the only one that thinks Snowden is a trouble maker.

Malala should be the one to receive this honour. Thx Christeen

I'm also for Snowden it's good what he did and sacreficed a lot for doing so, but the nobelprice should go to Malala.

I wouldn't go as far as nominating him for the Nobel Peace Prize. We do need to backup whistleblowers, though.

This has to be a joke.

I certainly don't think Snowden deserves the Nobel Peace Prize! It's ludicrous. He did turn over some documents that could have and maybe in fact did jeopardize some people lives. His motives were certainly questionable as well as his methods. He cold have accomplished just as much without such grave consequences by going to the President or someone in the Obama administration before engaging in the type of tactics that he used. I don't think you could call Snowden a humanitarian in the least sense. The Nobel Peace Price should be awarded to only those whose actions are above reproach.

Nominating Snowden for the Nobel Peace Prize would be like nominating Jennifer McCarthy for advances in medicine.
