Any of these coming reality would be indeed unfortunate. There is still good maple syrup in Ontario and Quebec, it is going to be a long time before our winters are too mild for maple syrup...that is for certain.

There are still those who deny that global warming exists, but the polar bears already know about the effects on the polar ice, making life far more difficult. While there are various natural changes in climate, with the booming human population and all of the pollution that has taken place, one has to accept that the proliferation of industry and overpopulation has had a major effect on the natural world.
