Within 3 hours of dropping his dogs off the owner's daughter received a phone call telling her one of her dad's dogs was dead. They went on to say they had "only" left the dog out for 30 minutes. The dog died of heat stroke. The kennel has not apologized.

Thank you for posting- signed last night. This is awful ! No dog should be left out in the high heat for 30 minutes, but some dogs can suffer tremendously and die. My senior dog fainted once when she was exposed only after 5 minutes of high heat. These people should have known better. So so sorry !

Animals should ALWAYS have the option of shelter, one of my rabbits adores the sun and follows it around the room throughout the day, but she ALWAYS has the option to get away from it if she wants to.

This is the problem when you board your animals, you have no idea if they have been treated well, or even if their basic needs have been met. I would say that if you cannot leave your pets with a trusted friend or family member, then you should randomly visit a boarding facility in the weeks running up to their stay to see how the other animals are being treated, if they don't want to let you in, then you should go somewhere else.

''SIGNED''.....this is horrible. If this where my dog, Ms. Gray would apologize, she would be sued and this kennel would be shut down. Mr Patterson made it clear to her before he left his dog there, that bulldogs are highly susceptible to heat stroke. She should know this. If she can't do any better than this, should not be around animals. Beautiful dog. ''RIP SUGAR BEAR''!!!!

This dump of a kennel should be shut down! Who runs it, PETA? Hope the family gets another cool dog from a shelter soon, too; preferably another similar to the lost one.

This kennel was negligent and, at the least, should apologize. They should also be shut down. People leave their beloved pets in a kennel believing them to be well cared for and safe. Anything less is unacceptable.
