A very detailed video by a Reverend explaining Paganism to his Christian congregation. Presented in a logical, truthful way without the drama and lies so common in these situations. Everyone can learn from this video.

Thank your for posting this very informative video on the attitudes of modern society. It was very enlightening to realize that as a "Pagan" I act very simular to many christians.

Thank you for posting this Video. I think its all to true that many faiths tend to dog each other. Its not cool I have been guilty of it myself. I think the Rev does a great job explaining things and I have passed this video on to everyone I could. I hope many people watch this. I also wondering if this was a UU church?

As a Pagan I approve this message. I would actualy attend a church that has acceptance and understanding like the pastor in this clip. I have attended way to many churches that don't have a true belief of what they are practicing. Only through studing other religions will you gain wisdom and understanding in your own.

This should be placed on youtube website, it will enable people to circulate the video via websites and myspace sites, excellent video, for once someone has done their homework.

How very refreshing to hear about my religion through the eyes of an educated Christian. I will definitely be sharing this video with others. a big thank you and hats off to the Reverend.

It's about time that someone was able to tell the truth from the pulpit. I agree with this minister and am glad that at least his church heard more than the normal hellfire and brimstone. I believe we have to study all things to gain wisdom, so he is right on the mark and he and his church will be richer and more enlightened for the effort. Great sermon! I can't wait for others to see this! Perhaps the witches voice may want to place it on thier site. Perhaps they can ask the minister. As Inanna said: Hat's Off To The Reverend!

OMG it is about time someone whom has the facts stated them and in a way that is bashing others!! I am also glad he through away the letter and decided to speak on the subject. It is about time everyone embrased there religons, and accept that others can practice as they see fit!! As long as its not harming others Physically, mentally, Emotionally, or Spiritually.

Great job...the only thing he might have added would have been the definition of "Pagan" (which is country dweller) with a brief explanation of where it came from. MORE ministers should explain different religions to their congregations!!! Knowledge of different peoples would lead to less hate and wars.

I would like to say as a Wiccan Priest ( a Pagan) Thank you deeply for this video! Finally some one in the Judaeo Christin world enlightening thier own to the truth of Paganism! Codo's It is noce to see the Misconceptions that have prevailed for FAR too Long! There truly is hope that some where in the future that ALL religions can learn to co-exsist and eventually work together in unison! Thank you again. Blessings be upon you for you God, as well as all Gods!

I want to thank you for having the nerve to do this video and explain Paganism to your congregation! Maybe now or at least some people will take the time to investigate what they do not know or fear about us! You are a true blessing!

Thank you for this video. I have said almost the exact same things over and over to my own group, and to friends, some of whom are also non-pagan. I have a hard time dealing with any kind of intollerance, be it racial or religious, and your comments were like a breath of fresh air.
Blessings always,

This is great but anyone can put on a collar and stand in front of a photo background and a microphone. This guy never looks at the camera, he gesticulates wildly, he is obviously not trained or experienced in public speaking, he's nervous and trying very hard not to act that way. The way disgust, irritation and barely leashed anger drips from his inflections, one would be hard pressed to believe he is actually attempting to bring comfort, clarity or education to his congregation. Funny that there are no religious icons in evidence. This guy is a Pagan, and this is a home video.

Wow! To the comments made critisizing his technique of speaking! I think you are speaking from fear & ignorance of what he is trying to do. He is trying give those of you who, upon finding out someone you are in contact with are Pagan then decide to ohh let's say choose not to talk or be around them anymore because of the flashy hollwood version of us or fear you may be condemned to what Christians call hell or we are Devil worshippers.....or turn you into a toad hehehe ect......Yes I feel he is not trying to win an award but his information is true! Try to see the good in it! Wow! What fear and ignorance can do! I can only hope that one day your eyes and mind open to increase your knowledge and lessen your fear! Until then I wish you many blessings in your life!

Brenda

Well, I have to say this is a well educated individual and if not currently, completely pagan, He at least was (as indicated near the end of the video) I as a "Pagan" found this very informative but somewhat combative toward christians at the same time. We (pagans) as a community need more of these intellegent vehicles to the mainstream to aid in others understanding. That is of course, if thats what we want.

i really appreciate this video but he is not preacheing to a typical "chirstian" congregation. Rev. Younger is a Reverend in the ULC. He believes in an all one god faith perspective. great video though. He has a few other videos that people should look up. And who cares that there are no religious icons (to Tia) I grew up going to what my mother refferred to as "store front churches" and we didn't really have religious symblos except maybe in the sunday school room. We were all pretty poor and were just happy to have a meeting place to praise god.... even if he is a pagan... are you mad cause you really are just the same?

I wish every christian, every pagan, every religion person could view this video! It not only dymistfies paganism, but the reverend has excellant points that pagans and other religious persons should listen to! As a pagan myself, I wish there were more exchanges such as the Reverend Younger's....and as pagans, we too, should practice more tolerance and understanding of other religions.....great video!

This is a wonderful video. I am very happy that The Rev. has made a video that takes everyone to task for making assumptions. I am a Pagan and have Christian friends. It is always makes for an interesting holiday when we mix it up to celebrate together. The Reverend is right that we have more in common than not.

I am so sorry when I went to post comment about the video it did not put in what I had said so sorry to everyone for all that mambo jumbo up there I will try it again. So for comment on video: 1st of all I would like to say that the comment that Tia had said above did show me signs of ignorance. #1 though the Rev. did not look straight at the camera, if you would go back & rewatch this video you might be able to catch on to the fact that he does look forward, left to right as though speaking to a congregation. The fact of him being nervous may be for nothing more then this is a ver contraversial subject, & my hat goes off to him for getting up & setting people straight on Paganism. I believe if there were more like him there would be less ignorant people in the world. another factor 2 is that did you ever consider that maybe there is no religous symbols because this could have been done at like a evening sermon in maybe a banquet hall or somewhere less formal. Many churches do have those too. And knowing that he could have been shunned from his congregation alone might have played part in his nervousness. But thank God ( Which is the god my lord & saviour in heaven) just thought I would not that if you were becoming ignorant or passing judgement on who you thought my God may be) he did stand up for what he believed in. Now hopefully some will be educated & NOT BE SO QUICK TO JUDGE. So hats off again & many blessings to all you Pagans who may not have to deal with much more Taboos.
