OK, I did leave a comment a minute ago and noted hope you get credit for the note Brenda. Yes I have signed and added comment to the letter. We've all seen or heard of THAT video. It even made me scream and I'm pretty tough. This loophole should never have been created in the first place (shame on them) and needs to close now. A raccoon dog should not be subjected to the indescribably pain and agony of having its skin ripped off while alive for any reason but certainly not so some uninformed shopper could sport a bit of it's precious fur as a fashion accessory. We need to not only sign this petition but we need to make the public aware even on a one to one basis of what that fur trim went through to get on that jacket. Many people truly believe those signs and labels that say faux fur.

In Sweden minks have been kept in furfarms for a long time but the industry has almost completely ceased to exist, mostly due to being targeted by animal rights activistgroups. I just wanted to point out that these are dogs not raccoons. The photo may confuse people. Not that it matters...no one should wear any animal.
