They should be thankful for what they already have and I'm not talking about the gay community. The religious community already receives far too many exemptions and preferential treatment; the biggest of which is their free ride on taxes while being about as proactive as anyone with their open attempts to influence legislation that favors and promotes religion.

The religious-right industries already earn many millions from publishing, music, recording, events, workshops...you name it, they're making money from it. I had to laugh last night when I stopped at a tv channel because I liked the musical style of a male quartet. They were singing "Christian" music in the 50s Lounge style!!! Back to the point...the religious-right wouldn't know Jesus if he stopped by to throw out their bookkeepers. I'm with Americans United on this issue...don't allow any more or any broader religious exemptions than these thieves already have.

It's good to see that there are exemptions.

Nancy you are so right, no pun intended! lol...

My, the greed. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!

Hypocrites, all of them!

I am a proud Christan and I'm gay, whether they like it or not, I'm happy to say! :)

One of Canada's former Prime Ministers said this in 1968 I believe;

"Government has no place in the bedroom of it's citizens"

Religion has no place ALSO in government!

Religion in governnment...well now..isn't that what the Taliban is, and the reason we went to war?

Or, is that to say.. the religion in one form of governmet is unaccepable, but acceptable in another????

Or is it all just Christaniy wishing to dominate the world, (AGAIN?)
