Recently, I stopped by my neighborhood Exxon station to conduct a price test. A 20-ounce bottle of Aquafina water cost $1.57, including tax. A 20-ounce bottle of Pepsi also cost $1.57. Regular gas sold for $3.05 a gallon. Why drink bottled water?

me too here in Romania where 1 litre is 1,2 euro...but we stay better with bottled water. So, there is some hope.

Aquafina is often tap water (from Public Water Supply), so is price high because of the bottle or the label.

I do prefer spring water. My American town has safe water from the tap, which is our good fortune.
