I agree with this assessment. Whether we pay for the bailout or not, the economy is going to crash. Paying that $700 billion will just prolong the pain and cause greater harm. We may as well bite the bullet and get this nightmare started without more handouts to the greedy. If we pay for this, it will buy time for Congress to 'hope' for a solution. But there are no guarantees. The only solution I can agree to is bailing out Americans with no additional cost to us. Thanks, Mae.
