He's already signed.
Vick is getting washed up. I think his football days are coming to an end sooner rather than later.
Let's hope dog lovers tackle him over and over. Not advocating physical damage. It's football.

I sympathize with AniMae's position.

Like any sportsperson, when they've committed a crime, they need to do community service at the very least, OR donate portions of their wealth to the cause they violated.

I believe that if we truly value our legal system, we owe it to those who have been incarcerated an opportunity to contribute to society without the stigma of past transgressions lingering over their head and preventing them from conducting a meaningful life. Michael Vick’s past transgressions involved dog fighting, a vile pursuit to say the least, but had nothing to do with his profession as a professional football player.

Since his release from prison, Michael Vick has been a roll model to others who have made foolish mistakes in their lives. Do we really want to punish a man who is contributing to society and trying to make amends? If we continue to attempt to make a pariah of Mr Vick, if we strip him of his ability to contribute to society and rob him of the ability to support his family, what avenues have we left him? What does that say about us? Are we so small, so single minded, so righteous that we can’t look past a mans past wrong doings and see that the worst of our transgressions can be overcome?

Michael Vick's livelihood, his ability to contribute to society and provide for his family should not be compromised after he has served his debt to society, which he has, according to the law. If you are one of those who wants more from people like him, change the laws of society to reflect the appropriate punishment for such despicable acts.

As a member of the Steeler Nation, I commend the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as the New York Jets and Philadelphia Eagles for their ability to look beyond Michael Vick’s past wrongdoings and give him the opportunity to productively contribute to society and to prove that we can all overcome our past transgressions.

Perhaps the person who believes in Vicks miraculous redemption and believes in his second coming should watch an hour or so worthy of dog fighting tapes. I hope it makes his defender as sick as his defender makes me. I don't expect to change the mind of one that has none.
