Noted - how absolutely terrible for these poor animals, once they had homes, now they are left to fend for themselves. I don't care what disaster hit, you don't abandon your animals. You as a human can fend for yourself, these poor animals can't. They must be absolutely terrified and my heart breaks for them.

People like these dogs' former owners shouldn't have been allowed to keep any kind of animal. They're not worthy of an animal's love. Couldn't those poor dogs be sent to other states? I've read of similar transports in the past.
