Progresso lines its soup cans with bisphenol A, or BPA. Scientists have long warned of BPA's link to cancer, but a new study has found that it's related to obesity and diabetes as well.

I understand how arduous it is to work outside the home and take care of a family.
Having said that, it is not difficult to open a can/carton (without preseratives) of broth, add some fresh or frozen vegetables, a few herbs and heat.

Why are working mothers, not having their children help in the kitchens? I'm not talking about making a pie from scratch.

thanks for posting - I stopped buying canned soup years ago for that very reason - I now make my own in batches and freeze portions for later use they're great for weekend lunches - far healthier and tastier too! - petition signed

I called Progresso a few months ago re this very topic. They were a bit wishy-washy but did say they were trying to make a change....
