I spent 5 days in the hospital for pancreatitis, the hospital bill would have been $30,000, if I had insurance,( I don't, can't get it. Pre-existing condition) or made payments. Luckily, I was able to negotiate a cash price of $15,000. How could they afford to do that if my bill was 30gr? BTW, a bag of salt water(saline) was $100 a pop.
