She was shocked to learn that Senator Scott Brown is supporting the Blunt amendment -- a dangerous measure being pushed by Senate Republicans that would allow insurance companies and employers to deny health care coverage to anyone for any reason.

So right Caliope, but still to early for a g/star.

Elizabeth Warren is a shining example of both caring, knowledge and perseverance for this country that has been hijacked and held hostage by the dark side, and the main reason i joined and continue to support Emily's List.
Lord knows she's paid her dues and done penance having had to work under Mittens! Thanks Michael

Haitham, I should probably go back in to this diary and edit in that this was just a copy and paste from Senator Warrens (I hope. I'm from Massachuestts.) Facebook Page. Knew it wasn't copy righted material so OEN wouldn't have any problem publishing it.

Go Bless Elizabeth Warren. She is the true, I Have A Dream we all can live with that makes a difference in We The People and a set example how congress should be. She is a true leading Lady that listens to the cry of the people to make a better today, a better tomorrow, and a brighter future. She is our silver lining among the clouds.
Bravo Michael for the awesome post of your golden star issue.

If I was still living in Massachusetts I know I'd be voting for her. It is wonderful to have a woman of such quality in the limelight instead of the likes of Sarah Palin....I have been cringing as a woman with some of her types in the public eye. And forget about those reality shows that are dragging women into the gutter with their antics. Young women, that is not what us older women fought for when we were trying to get the equal rights.

Noted, thanks, Michael. Good that you noticed the 1st paragraph (below pic of Elizabeth) editing problems. Appears as if cut/paste editing was not proofed. I love her and many progressives will forgive the poor editing. Presentation is everything. Would love to make good impression on those who are just learning about her. Maybe contact author or editor? I apologize for my OCD as the message is still quite clear that she's the BEST!

Elizabeth Warren is a remarkable advocate for the citizens of this entire country - Massachusetts will be honored to have her represent them. I don't think there is any way she will lose the election because she will be the perfect replacement for Ted Kennedy's seat, and continue the commitment he was known for.
It should be important for all of us to know the leaders that fight for progress, regardless of the state they represent. They are the ones that will help us ALL.

If only all of our candidates for any office in our government were as principled and articulate as she is... then we might again have a country we're proud of. Good job Michael for bringing attention to one of the best candidates in the US today.

I hope the people of Massachusetts realize what an opportunity they have in Elizabeth Warren! She's everything a politician should be --and more! Like many others, I hope she occupies the Oval Office some day, and I would campaign on her behalf with much enthusiasm.

It appears that she's trailing in the polls as I write. I hope the people of Massachusetts don't let the best of the best slip away!

I am against a two party system that only permits two corporate-owned and operated, free market capitalist parties. Ms. Warren seems like an excellent candidate; she just isn't in a party that stands for anything truly different.

Brian, while I agree with your 2 party appraisal, I would only hope that 'because' a candidate is part of one of them, it would deter your vote. I have hope for the new Justice Party, but we all have to be realistic as well. There ARE SOME good people within the 2 parties. Warren happens to be running as a Democrat and will be an EXCELLENT Congress person. We must remember that EVERY elected official is not bought and paid for by corporate interests. If we all use our common sense when voting we COULD have people that WILL govern for the common good.

I used to believe that our elected officials had the common good as their guide, and that other than 'different opinions' on some beliefs, we could "live with it" (so to speak). I don't believe that so much any more. When you find a candidate that genuinely works for the "people" (as a whole) then you have a good choice. I simply don't want a "representative" whose campaign and ideas are narrow-minded or focused on a particular religious belief (or lack of), on that pander to corporate interests that destroy the environment and wildlife or for that matter, disregard any of it's population's value.

I would love for her to run for president in 2016, but I would also like her to be protected from all the suffering she would endure in that office. She is truly one of the good ones, a salt of the earth kind of woman, someone I wish every daughter would look to and model values after. She is a gift, a true treasure, and gives me hope that there is a future of great possibilities for this country.

We need all we can get who will stand with workers and consumers. Tongue in cheek here, from an IBEW Wirenut who does like the changes Ron Paul may be able to fix at the top, so we then can build our way out. Sort of just covering all angles.
