An Albuquerque couple has just been arrested for sexually abusing and torturing their 2-month-old baby. There is a sickness going around. We have to find its roots and kill it before it spread further. Prisons, mental hospitals, banishment to the moon, whatever it takes.

If we sent them all to the moon they would “off” one another and we wouldn’t have to worry about them! While that is a bit of an amusing thought, it is not realistic, and actually fixes nothing. To fix this problem we have to start with the children. Children are the future generation of adults; and horrifying as it may be, a few of them are future child abusers and sexual preditors. Yes, the man in this article, just as too many countless others, was once a child himself, with a mother and father, and a family.

To fix this epidemic, per say, we must start with the children. Appearently not every child is taught by their parents a good moral standard. Therefore, our nations’ school system must teach children to be nurturing, accepting and tolerant. Children must be taught how to respect their body, and to respect that of every other person. Children must be coached to dress modestly and appropriately, schools nation wide must have a strict and modest dress code that ensures children are dressing appropriately. No more short shorts or mini skirts that bearly cover the butt, no more blouses that epose the chest or middrift!

Another problem is all of the sexually explicit children’s television programs and movies, and pop stars like Lady GaGa whom never wears pants. X- rated material must be sold in special locations that do not allow minors access and there are laws to prosecute violations. The same must be enforsed of R and PG-13 movies, also of any product or material that shows a male or female dressed in over exposing clothing, yes including Brittney Spears’ albums. Providing provisional ratings simply is not good enough. This is especially true when you have televison programs such as the “Secret Life of the American Teenager”, about a pregnant 15 year old girl that plays on the Disney chanel, and several others that depict young children dating, “making out”- French kissing, discussing the desire to have sex, and dressing (sorry) like a prostitute. These sorts of things must be made illegal to allow a child to view or promote to child.

All of this over-sexualization only breeds lust and the desire to be lustful. When there is a child that is already a bit unstable, this kind of lust inticing envioroment may lead the the person when they are an adult, or still a child themselves, to act out their desires on an unconsenting person or a child that could never consent to such acts due to age.

This really is where it starts, with the children. Today’s children are the next generations adults. The children of today, whether now, or when they a grown, will act or react, poorly or well, based on what they are taught or not taught as a child.

Brenda, they're already doing these things in a couple of places: Saudi Arabia and Iran. They also cut off the hands of thieves and stone adulerous women to death. Yet rape, incest, and other sex crimes abound. I don't think your plan would work.
