I KNOW ABOUT THIS FIRST HANDED, I WAS HOMELESS FOR ABOUT 7 YEARS. I HAVE BEEN SHOT AT STABED, AND THING TOSSED AT ME, AND YOU TELL THE POLICE AND THEY DON'T REALLY CARE BECAUSE YOU ARE HOMELESS, LET A HOMELESS PERSON BE KILLED AND SEE HOW HARD THEY TRY TO FIND OUT WHO DID IT, BUT LET SOMEONE WITH MONEY GET KILLED THEY HAVE SOMEONE IN JAIL FOR IT FAST.

Noted. Contemptible and cowardly. Fortunately, there are far more people who are compassionate and work on behalf of the homeless than there are the deplorable handful who prey on them. Thank you, Terry.

Terry, You're right. Money and social standing have way to much influence in this nation. These egregious acts are as Carolyn said, "cowardly"
ThanksTterry

Oh yes the way you are and dress governs the way you are treated! Many moons ago I used to ride a motorcycle and when I used to go to the motorcycle store to get parts etc I recall being shouted at by a traffic warden when coming out of the store "Is that your effing bike on the yellows" it wasn't my bike but traffic wardens are not to bothered about things like that, I was wear motorcycle gear so it must have been mine! The next time I wanted some bits I parked my Mercedes diliberately on the yellows and the same idiot warden grovelled and offered to mind my Merc as I got out in my business suit! It was a much better feeling than giving a two fingered salute! But why I was the same guy in the motorcycle leathers? But this is what the police and other people do they make judgements based on appearence and don't look beyond the colour of skin ethnicity or social status attached to material possessions so I can well imagine how native Americans, or any other section of the community that receive illogical discrimination against them. THere was a good prog on UK TV recently about a tv presenter who had a drink problem and lost his well paid job, wife and kids and ended up sleeping rough under Brighton pier on the south coast of the UK, very enlightening about attitudes to homelessness and the public perception of the homeless!

oh how sick and heartbreaking, wasn't this poor man suffering enuff? Why and how could anyone do this to anybody?People are very scary today, evil in the hearts of teen agers,we must pray for these kids who probably did this! I know several homeless people and work with the homeless also, they tell us when they are frightened, and are afraid to sleep,i let one girl move into my apt in desert hot springs,i could not bear to see her and her kat, homeless, so i let her move in, while i was at work, she sold everything i owned, even my dishes for drugs!I moved out in 3 days!It was a bad experience but i learned from it!There is dark and light everywhere! We must prepare for it all!For we are One,under our Hashi Inkba Sun Father,Mother Moon

Terry this is so wrong!!! The police are suppose to protect everyone. Shameful and disgraceful!! They have no right to discriminate against people like that. I have heard that many not all of the police are abusive or angry people that is why they take the job in the first place.
Just glad you are ok.

The longer I live the more I see the denegration of the so called governing bodies and its peoples. I am appalled that these poor souls who choose for one reason or another to wander the streets and remain homeless - are persecuted and treated as if they are nothing - beaten and worse - it is absolutely unacceptable - some may choose to be homeless and live their lives as wanders and others are forced into this state because of situations beyond their control - nevertheless they need help and people who are in better situation must do their very best to make the world of the homeless a better place. Thanx Terry Brightest Blessings surround you always.

Tis such a shame, especially as the word of God emphasis that we should respect those that are older than us, and to care for the homeless... It is atrocious that people can do this to others, but the truth is you will sow what you reap and their turn will come around... Amazing how people always tramp on those at their lowest in life
