~ This is a tradgedy ~

I will hold Michael dear to my heart always, what a shame this is. I felt all along that this was true about the doc. He should have been more AWARE as to the amount he was administering. Michael obviously trusted him with this dangerous drug, and Michael was addicted to it, no doubt ~

TY Terry for the article sweet man, noted w/sadness.

May Michael be at rest with his angels now ~ I hope all the haters leave him alone now!

In peace always,
FreeSpirit...

I thought Doctors were supposed to be trustworthy????? this is disgusting abuse of power and I hope he gets a lot of prison time. Michael was not ready to go--and the world was not ready to say goodbye.....

Yep, drugs! You're paying your doctors to treat you so ask any and all questions if in doubt. Ask a few doctors. Know ALL your options before committing! Most chronic illnesses do not kill you instantly - you have time to do your "own homework".

THANK Terry!

Liz C, it's not so much of abuse of authority, if doctors are only taught to serve the prescription drugs industry, they will only have prescription drugs to dispense to you.

I believe that MJ's death was largely his responsibility. He had the power to demand what he wanted. He was Michael Jackson, and who could strongly oppose his demands? I really feel sorry for that poor doctor.

Yes, I am with you on this Cliff. Many deaths (and harm) would be avoided if only they were DESPERATE enough to find the truth. I know I was!

I don't doubt Michael knew he was in danger, but this doctor had to show responsibilty, he made that final decision, we so trust their knowledge, too much maybe. sure MJ could make those demands, but what an unscrupulous doctor to give in, he knew the dangers, he should have walked away, but well, there was so much money to be had in being that special doctor. manslaughter maybe, but I just can't see outright murder?
ty Terry, kinda torn on this one..

MJ was torn between stopping Coca Cola (he was one of their spokesperson) and continuing. I see several critical questions:
1. Was it "normal procedure" to use a "sleeping aid" that was commonly used pre-surgerically - to use it as if it was a "normal sleeping pill"? If not, why would the doctor use it? Did he use it just because it's been used on MJ for many months or years? Or did the doctor used it because he thought no one else would know?
2. There's no question that MJ approved and allowed whatever treatments and drugs to be used on him. But did his doctor tell him that MJ was not supposed to go WITHOUT FOOD before administration of drugs? Did MJ tell his doctor he had not eaten prior to the "sleeping syringe"?

It's not outight murder I agree. It may or may not even be homicide but since there's pressure to make someone pay for MJ's death, perhaps MJ's family should try sueing FDA - they allowed prescription drugs into the market and sometimes without testing them or requiring evidence of tests on these drugs. FDA serves drug-makers and vaccine-makers.

I guess there were a lot of us that did not realise that he was addicted to all these drugs, obviously hiding from inner emotional pain that he did not deal with... it is very sad
