Many people have unrealistic dreams. They think if they make it to the "rich" North, or Europe (same is happening with refugees trying to come into the EU), that they will have the lifestyle they see on TV, an illusion. Or the opportunity to finally escape poverty.....
I feel so so sorry for these people. They are exploited till the bitter end. First they pay a lot to get out of their country and get into the destination country, and then they are used as slaves. If they are caught and sent back to country of origin, they are still very poor and also have a huge loan to pay back.
No wonder a lot of migrants opt for suicide...and people are harsh.
They should have stayed in Cuba, at least now they know....

Afgan refugees made it to Europe, after paying thousands to smugglers who got them to Europe, the Afgan refugees were all interned in a refugee camp in Calais. Eventually the police came and broke the camp down, and the poor poor desperate people have no where to go.

This is shameful. NATO countries are bombing the shit out of Afganistan for the profits of a few, then when regular Afgan people try to escape the atrocities committed by the West, and make it to Europe, they are not welcome. I thought NATO was in Afganistan in order to provide a better life for Afgan people.
It sure doesn't look like it when you see what they do to the Afgan refugees.

Just heartbreaking. Most people in Europe are Nationalists and don't even see the Afghans as refugees.
