That is why we don't have the death sentence in Canada, or in most countries in the developed world.

A statement from Perry spokesman Chris Cutrone, sent to the Chronicle late Friday, said that "given the brevity of (the) report and the general counsel's familiarity with all the other facts in the case, there was ample time for the general counsel to read and analyze the report and to brief the governor on its content." It would appear from the official statement that the Governor did not read the report, but rather let the aids read it and form his opinion for him. This is a sad situation that humans feel it is okay to kill another human. Doesn't this put all the people involved with the process on the same level as the original crime committed? We petition other Governments to stop killing their citizens and even declare war on other countries that abuse humans. But we turn around and kill our own people in the name of justice. These other countries say what they do is in the name of justice too, but we don't accept that as an excuse from them. It is time for all the violence to stop including te death penalty. Humans are more barbaric than any other species. We kill animals and humans because they displease us or are simply just in our way. STOP the violence. Thanks Lone Wolf.

"You cannot send a green star to Brad... or Mary F ..." I so agree with you, and with Madeleine. Life seems to be cheap in some parts of the US.

Thannxxx Lone Wolf.. justice can be one of the most unjust places to be in... one cannot bring back the dead.. and this is definitely where the death penalty cannot be justified... costly mistakes are just not acceptable.. and there should be accountablity in all of these departments including a overhual of out dated policies.. this mistake will follow them to the grave
