Thanks Terry!!!

This has been on the News all the time especially since these people were referred by a place here in Southern California...

So upsetting that this happened, I think there is a problem with this Lodge, but, just my humble opinion!

Please keep up the post and let us know what is going on with this story please.

These places need to be monotored!!! They need doctors, they can not run by themselves and not have any rules!

Again...Been watching this on the news, and it is a BIG DEAL!!!

I have seen it on the news to a few times. I know just from walking in the horrible humidity and heat that we get here in the summer is enough to make you pass out or get weak or dizzy. It happened to me a couple of times just from dehydration.
Thanks Terry

the sweat lodge is a sacred rite of american indians. if these people are not indian they should not be belittling the ceremony. bad things are bound to happen eventually.

Bad things did happen, because something went terribly wrong. Someone did not know what they were doing, and innocent people were killed. Close the place for good, and stop the madness.

This is tragic.. but may others learn from this and there should be strict measure put into place with these practices.. Water should be allowed and temperatures measured so that dangerous levels are not exceeded..

When you turn a sacred ceremony that the Native Americans do into a money making venture then you get not a blessing but tragedy instead.

I think this tragic event is putting out one single question : Can I buy my spiritual growth in 5 days for almost $10.000.00 ? Certainly not. Drunvalo was talking about the people from the secret. Everybody knows that the secret was not a secret but a money making film. For whom ? For the Creators of that film. It was encouraging greed the way they put out in their film and.. .no wonder that most of them now are having law suits against each other according to Drunvalo.

Sweatlodges are not only native American tradition but their knowledge is far greater as they could preserve their knowledge .

I don't get it..
If you want to attend a sweatlodge and looking for spiritual growth why don't you go to a Native American sweatlodge for almost free and donate the rest of the money you would have spend on a new age money making retreat to a reservation ????/

This would bring this people more spiritual growth than anything else... !!!!!!!! as its involve respect , compassion and gratitude!!!

My heart goes out for the victims and their families and friends.. and also for the greedy money making idiots my they be blessed with clarity and knowledge of what they are doing !

Greed shows it's ugly face again. I feel so terribly bad for these folks and their families. They expected a powerful, wonderful and life changing experience but got a life ending one. I believe The Creator is in your soul and spirit always. We do not necessarily have to experience anything more than acknowledging and truly listening to the lessons of life, practicing understanding and compassion and truth of self. I am still working on all of this too. Some days it comes very easy, other days I fall from the teachings but that's our job here on this earth, to learn and practice unselfish love and respect for all others, and please, let's not let their quest be in vain, we always have to keep trying for the sake of each other. Bless their spirits.

These people fasted and then got too hot with too many people in too small of a space. If your body temperature gets too high you can die from it.
