TOKYO -- For years, dolphin hunts off the seaside town of Taiji, which turn coastal waters red with blood each winter, have drawn the ire of Western activists. But few among the Japanese public seemed to care, or even know, about the slaughter

Let us hope this sparks a debate within Japanese society, which is the best way for this slaughter to end - from the inside, not just through outside pressure.

Thanks TY for this Special Article with videos...Personally I still have to find where I can view this movie, or maybe would rather get the tape so I can fast forward it since I get way to upset.

The fact that some of these people in Japan didn't know this was taking place is actually quite shocking to me, are they all under a rock...what do they think they are eating???

I hope they learn ALOT, and Claudia, thanks for the info...hope the stupid suing the filmmakes falls right out of the courts, that is just wrong, this needs to get out there. Surprised that the Animal Planet doesn't put this on or have HBO or someone pick this up after the movie gets through its run...Now, that would get to a ton of people.

This has got to stop, the fact that there are people out there now getting out information is SUPER, and Captain Watson doing what he does for all of the sea creatures too...Kudos to all of these people!!!!

These kids in Japan through infomation and awareness can move their parents to stop some of this from happening...praying that that happens, because, it always is best when it comes from inside ones own Country, in my humble opinion! Once they stop the demand for this food, I would like to hope and pray that ends this horrid and tragic injustice from taking place!

It's obvious that the JAPANESE media inform their public on topics of their CHOOSING.

Can't send you another green star, since I already have this week... but...

A *GREEN STAR* FOR TERRY bringing this to light.

It would be nice if they'd show this one worldwide, so everyone can see what goes on. It isn't just about Japan, or any sort of racial/cultural thing, it's about waking people up to what's going on.

This is such a horrid sight for sore eyes. This ritual that is set for every year needs to be abolished, Iím sure the dolphins wouldnít mind.
This is something that needs to be put out there in film more so as the truth portrayed and acknowledged by the public more readily. People think if they donít see what is going on it isnít really happening. Well they are so deadly wrong, and they really need to know. I hate with a heavy heart to see these very horrible deaths happening. And it is everywhere! Hay we all sign and take action everyday so we know the sadness, the gut wrenching feelings we all get when we see or hear about the things that are taking place on our planet. I suppose we are all going for the same out come because if we didnít care we wouldnít be doing what we are doing.. Thank you my dear friends.

Thank you T

Im very happy that the average Japanese person will get to see this now. More than this film raising awareness worldwide, it may make the average Japanese citezen aware (which is how and where the REAL change will happen.

Hopefully the world will stop condeming "THOSE PEOPLE". Almost all Japanese people I know personally adore animals. (AND???? Not all Chinese people eat cats and dogs!!!!) You cant condem an enire society for a handful of money-makers.

Its the same thing in the United States. Just because Sarah Palin approves wolf hunts, DOES NOT mean she represtents the entire nation!!!
