Portland, Maine -- Shiloh Pepin, a girl who was born with fused legs, a rare condition often called "mermaid syndrome," and gained a wide following on the Internet and national television, has died. She was 10.

As watching her on Oprah she had the wildest spirit for having the mermaid syndrome as she did, you have thought this young vibrant little lady would at the age of Ten go on thru life until she was in her early twenties but she outlived her destiny as it was. She is in a lot better place on the Other Side where she can live a nomal life and free from bad obstacles.

She fought this disease with humor and grace found in adults. May her spirit rest in peace. My sincere condolences to her family.

I saw this little girl on tv and was amazed by her personality.She was a sweetheart.Now she is in God's arms.

I have followed Her story on tv for awhile,Im so sad Earth will miss this lil angel,But like Meg F. said " Heaven is a much brighter place" She's up there with my lil girl Tonya Lynn. God bless her mom and dad for I truely know the pain of looseing a child is great. She will be missed by all of us who's lives she touched in a very specail way.I know mine has.
