How exciting! I wonder what tribes will be represented. All have had some rough times with broken treaties, etc. I hope we can find a follow up article that explains how it went.

How good were this meeting come to fruition. The native American Indians have suffered long years of indignity very similiar to that which the Aboriginies suffer in Australia. That people who come to a new land should try to decimate the indiginous population by force is immoral. Granted that a very specific class of people were the oppressors in these two countries, that it should be still continuing shows a complete indifference to the plight that these people are suffering. Hopefully we shall hear some good news which will give us cause to rejoice.
