And I don't want to hear any crap and whining about how insisting that ALL humans be responsible and limit fertility is somehow "racist." It isn't. Humans are too numerous and it doesn't matter what shade they are, and it's usually the cultures who exploit and oppress women who whine the loudest because lower birth rates usually means stronger women's rights. There's an inverse correlation here and if they don't like it, too bad. Women should have control, and most women do not want to be constantly pregnant.

DECREASING HUMAN POPULATION GROWTH!!! Signed and noted, it is a responsibility, more so than a right, especially in this day and age!!! Thanks DC for passing this on to me.

Noted and signed, thanks. It is clear that providing all women with the ability to control their bodies is not only a moral imperative, but an economic one, as children brought into a home that is prepared to care for them have a much wider range of opportunities than would otherwise be the case.

Hi DC,
I almost deleted this from my email, because so many of these actions are in support of ZERO population growth, which I oppose. So, I am glad I peeked, and found out it is really for enhancing women's rights and ability to choose NOT to get pregnant.
Thanks DC. Signed and noted.

I, for one fully support ZERO POPULATION!

Zero Population would allow for all the animals who
are now near exstinction to find once again their space
again on planet earth.
Human over population is wipeing out everything the earth
has taken millions of years to create........And, we are
wipeing all this out in a matter of years & not millions
of years.

Plant & protect trees for life....................

Thank you, DC,

By now, it should indeed be clear, that one of the greatest threats to mankind and Earth itself comes from overpopulation, which is growing at an exponential rate - as underlined in a recent UN Study: Slower Population Growth To Help Environment, UN Study concluded (18 November 2009):
http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5j74yWpJ1atBwCsu78IVj2VOABDzg

A worldwide, rational, responsible, democratic ( applicable and mandatory to each and all ), scientific and rigorously monitored Birth Control is the only logical, mature and ethical answer to this unprecedented, but largely foreseen challenge.

May reason and wisdom prevail.

Regards.

I too am concerned about the size of the human population. I am childfree and think that is a good way to be kind to the Earth and other species. It is time for people in every country to have good access to contraception and other reprdocutive health services. Petition gladly signed, thanks DC.

Thanks DC, gladly signed, humans need to get reproduction in check, aside from the obvious starvation and despair in developing countries, humans are depleting resources & pushing out other species to extinction

Please read my petitions advocating municipal environmental contraception funding, which is increasingly politically realistic due to The Big Sort in more and more towns, and helps women's right's, quality of life, and school taxes as well as being at least 5 times more cost-effective than any other environmental effort. http://www.change.org/petitions/view/transfer_all_environmental_funds_to_contraception
