We are truly apathetic. We should have stood up as a Nation and demanded a total do-over when GWB stole the first election, but we did not. If we had been paying attention to our "lawmakers" we would Never have allowed Citizens United to be hatched. There is little to no solidarity and none of us want to end up imprisoned for protesting, er, I mean being terrorists.

Liberty and freedom also mean responsibility and I don't see people willing to step up and take responsibility. The president points to Congress they point to the president and we make excuses for why Snowden is not credible. I blame each link of the chain, from we the "little people" to the man at the top of the pecking order.

Americans would rather watch Reality TV than deal with the Reality affecting their lives. Bizarre times.

Reality TV that pays average Jane and John to attempt to fake out the audience by pretending they are not actors. We like delusions.
