I can't knit to save my life :-( Instead I made a donation on the website linked above.

That's awesome Clare. I love this organization. One time, i found a mortally wounded cormorant and Wildcare worked with the local Humane Society to have him transported after hours to their facility. I could not leave him unattended overnight...I would have taken him and stuck him in my bathtub or just stayed with him at a distance. I could not bear the thought of him out there alone and vulnerable with no means to defend himself. Unfortunately his back was fractured (probably hit by a car and placed on the roadside) so they had to put him down but they were amazing the whole time.

My nan taught me to knit when I was a child, but I couldn't even knit a scarf, so I have shared.

It is a shame that my nan is no longer with us as she could have knocked out the entire 1,200 in a week along with some little bibs and booties!
