Miss May is my hero. While Canadian Conservative MPs did not have the courage and foresight to oppose and speak out against Harper's Omnibus Bill she stood alone and took a stand.

The Green Party, unlike the establishment parties, is committed to Four Pillars:

1. Ecological wisdom

2. Social justice

3.Grassroots democracy

4. Nonviolence

These are the values that most people around the world embrace. Now we just have to put them in office whenever and wherever that we can.

Yep.....we need more Greens in parliament. I'm voting for them the next time. The Conservatives do not care about the environment or for protecting our food.

I find it more than a little shocking that the establishment parties don't understand the importance of such basic items as clean air, clean water, organic food, economic justice, and nonviolence.

Elizabeth May is far and away, the hardest working MP in Canada. Considering that she the only Green Party representative in the House of Commons and does not have the resources available to the more mainstream parties who hold more seats, she punches well above her weight class. I constantly see her in the news, highlighting environmental issues and above all, fighting the good fight.

The sooner we're rid if this willfully ignorant gang of Harper sycophants, the better...

This conservative government gambles with every Canadian's future. To put the country's economical future on a resource that is finite, is insanity. One day, Canadians will wake up, the Forrests will be gone, the west coast polluted with tar sand sludge, the fish stock gone and all manufacturing gone. And, unfortunately, you can't eat money, or live in memories. Those greedy politicians, oil barons, and other exploiters who are responsible will be super rich and gone.
