James Hansen has been speaking up for the planet for many years. We should be stopping or slowing down the burning of fossil fuels, especially coal and oil.

Wait! You mean FOX News is wrong? Climate change is really occurring? So, "Fair and Balanced" isn't necessarily "Truthful and Accurate"? Makes me wonder if they're even fair and balanced.

THE FUTURE IS NOW AND THERE WILL BE NO TOMORROW IF WE DON'T DO ANYTHING, but I am pessimistic that the time to prevent is gone and its all mitigation and minimizing damage now....BIG MONEY AND BIG POLLUTION HAVE DRIVEN US TO A REAL CLIFF......NOT THE IMAGINARY ONE LIKE THE GOP TALKS ABOUT WITH A BUDGET.....

Our government likes to talk about anything other than climate change. All the talk about the economy and jobs and taxes and politics and who is to blame, etc., etc.: it all amounts to less than nothing once this planet is dead. We are on our way to killing this planet. No other issue comes anywhere close to the sheer importance of saving this planet from the worst consequences of climate change.

Things will get worse because our corporate-dominated world presently places more value on profit than on survival. They will eventually have a complete paradigm shift, but not before conditions have significantly worsened.
