Not sure what the lies are that are being taught but certainly abstinence only is NOT all that should be taught. All students need to learn about all the kinds of birth control available.

Interestingly enough, the states that push abstinence-only sex education are all right-to-work states. Perhaps they want to develop a large, poorly-educated workforce that will accept low wages and unsafe conditions?

Very interesting comment you made above me Brian! Certainly thought provoking. Teaching teens by lies is absolutely useless. Simply leads to more lies in the long run. Teens should be given more credit than that. I also agree with Nancy M. The whole aspect of birth control should be taught. Thanks Brian!
