Outlaw Bear Baiting in South Carolina! Signed, tweeted, shared and shared some more.
I am trying to get an update on this and having a hard time finding someone. Last and only update, Sept. 2012. I also left a comment on the site. I am the one with the no elephants allowed at circuses. Thanks Brian!

Thanks everyone!
The hatefully cruel and barbaric practice of bear baiting must be stopped. Hopefully, more petitions, specifically for all internet users not just FB's, will be developed to pressure the SC governor into acting humanely on this issue.

I am really sad that this petition to stop the heinous practice of bear baiting is tied to FB and causing so much difficulty for Care2 users. If any of you do have FB, please sign and share this petition far and wide. As for the non-FB folks, I hope someone at one of the animal rights sites will pick up on this issue and start a secondary petition to ensure that as many people as possible can pressure the SC Governor to ban this archaic form of animal cruelty.
