To my way of thinking the World should have intervened before now - it is absolutely criminal of them to just sit back and watch the killing and destruction that the Chinese are causing - and not do something about it - I am ashamed to say the NZ is being very cautious Helen Clarke is thinking to the business deals with China I guess - I say "a world of tragic inequities compounded by GREED"!!!!

When we help OTHERS, we help OURSELVES more! When we abide in non-violence, we purify ourselves too. Indifference would be a passive participation in Violence.

Tibetans (many in India) hold and practice noble ideals. We, in India cannot be passive spectators to the violent, unethical, brutal actions of the Chinese. And I quote Ms. Pelosi,

"If freedom-loving people throughout the world do not speak out against China’s oppression in China and Tibet, we have lost all moral authority to speak on behalf of human rights anywhere in the world," Pelosi told thousands of cheering Tibetans, including monks and schoolchildren."

T.Y. Isil & all who have commented thus far. Rajan, well said. I'm glad to hear your words & to also hear of Pelosi's words of support for Tibet.
Jaclin, i wish for Australia & Nz to speak up too. No one person or country can do it by themselves, but collectively we can all make a difference.
