So Greenpeace and Sea Shepherd will not work together and Sea Shepherd will not support the BOYCOTT on Japan yes sir how high must i jump?
This boycott is one way to stop the killing i am sure of that and we
would love to see organisation working together on this one!
Sea Shepherd does not need any ships....
Toyota, Honda and Mitsubishi have been selling 25 % less cars in Europe!
Maybe the whales need more support from people who rather buy a VOLKSWAGEN than a Honda or Toyota! A boycott on Japanese products will stop the whaling...ist just possible with tax payers money..especially now with the rising oil prices!

WHALEDFENDERS DO IT IN THE SHOPS! Not at sea and not in expensive ads!
Nobody realy wants to stop commercial whaling if they dont sign and ask for a boycott! $$$$$$$$ matter not for the campaign for the Japanese Government!

Johann,Did Sea Shepherd tell you they don't support a boycott? Or are you refering to your petition?A boycott on Japanese products like cars ect will not stop the killing of whales i believe.It takes more than a boycott to stop the killing,but a boycott would have a deep impact !!!But won't be the only answer to whaling.Again,my oppinion
At least Sea Shepeherd acts more to oppose whaling than any other organisation who say they oppose whaling and these organisations collect money on campaigns against whalehunting and then spend the money on more ads and more campaigns and to pay their people who work there.It's a big loss that Greenpeace will not cooperate with Sea Shepeherd and didn't even have the desency to reply to the offer,but we all know why that is,don't we ???

I have written to Seashepherd, to discuss a boycott of Japan, but I am still waiting for a response from the captain. That has been months ago! He did not even answer my email? so figure that one. I don't understand, why the Sea shepherd has not called for a boycott.
Kevin Rudd is all about improving relationships with Japan.with the hybred cars. He wants Japan to build a car plant in Australia. But I think he is making that arrangement by himself, because most of my friends are not buying Japanese products. Hey Kevin Rudd, wake up, you are becoming more and more unpopular!

Why are the two most visible groups that people associate with the effort to stop whaling infighting. Why is there not an all out campaign against the Japanese on every front being waged until they stop? Every measure will have some effect why not make it a total 360 approach? How can we stop whaling if we can't even get together on how to start? For every second spent arguing with egos held high another whale is endangered. Come on peeps we're supposed to be better than this. I'm so disappointed.

Jocelyn Koopman that sounds great the numbers stated by Johann are interesting! Toyota, Honda and Mitsubishi have been selling 25 % less cars in Europe compared to last year same period! The Prius will not help Toyota if all the people who care about animal cruelty will stop buying TOYOTA!

Sea Shepherd did not answer my good friend BEA! I am sorry to hear that but they did not react to any suggestions on a boycott at least IFAW did explain that a BOYCOTT does not work all these organisations are just moneysucking how did Canadas minister call them....
He is right they collect money...to campaign....

A BOYCOTT on Canadian SEA FOOD works! A boycott on Japanese products works idem dito! But probably the people dont want to live without Sony Toyota and CO! Well buy Philips television and buy VOLKSWAGEN ! For every japanese product there is a great product in your own country!
As soon as the killing stops you can buy your SONY Honda or whatever!

Japan wants commercial whaling! Seems that Sea Shepherd and Greenpeace will let them have it if they dont work together and call for sharper actions than the whalewatching BOYCOTT JAPAN DONT BUY UNTIL THE KILLING IS OVER!

Why can't Sea Shepherd and Greenpeace work together? Boys and girls put your egos aside. This is not the time for one-up-man-ship, brinkmanship
or any other "ship" except the ANTI WHALING SHIP. With this sort of devision among these two groups how are we EVER going to safe our beloved Leviathans? Stop the bickering and back each other up - to the hilt - thank you.

HERE IS THE MESSAGE THAT I RECEIVED WHENI ASKED WHY SEA SHEPHERD HASN'T LAUNCHED A 'BOYCOTT JAPAN' CAMPAIGN YET:

Sea Shepherd intervenes to uphold international conservation law. We would support a boycott but we don't have the resources to organize a boycott campaign.

What will it take to make them stop whaling? Wish the 2 can go together. Boycotting the food chain I think would be an answer, but, we need to unite and make the whaling stop. We just need to get together as one and figure it out.

What does it take to start spreading the word about the BOYCOTT this answer of SEA SHEPHERD is just as sick as the answer that i have recieved from the IFAW!

BOYCOTTS WORK AND ARE MORE EFFECTIVE THAN DANGEROUS OPERATIONS AT SEA IF JAPANS MAFIA realy reacts and wants to sink Paul believe me they do...and they can make sure that there will be not one single witness to tell the story!
Maybe they can even come up with a video of the accident.....

Look at the most remarkable campaign that Pattrick did with his
whalesrevenge....or the very simple last one of sending whales by Greenpeace! They dont need millions and SEA SHEPHERD SHOULD START USING THE SUPPORTERS ....they dont at all...except when they send the millions to buy a further PIRATE VESSEL! But that should be a real big one for Japan will not accept problems like Greenpeace or Sea Shepherd caused this year!
The best way to stop the killing is if the MAFIA does not get the support from the Japanese Government that will stop if MR. Toyoda will call his friend to tell him that the sales of Toyota Nissan Mazda Mitsubishi and Honda have gone down by 25%.....that is realy money that matters....

The large organisations seem to follow the same rules as JAPAN!

All those asking Sea shepherd to organize the boycott do you not realise how busy they already are? Its up to US landlubbers to do all the work on a boycott to support their direct action. Lets hit them from ALL sides and stop the bickering. Greenpeace have lost the plot and a LOT of supporters. When they see that Sea Shepherd is gaining ground and popularity they will no doubt jump on board.......but too late their credibility has been flushed down the pan.
